What is osseointegration?

Osseointegration is a biophysical phenomenon which produces a union at molecular level of the titanium with the bone.  Said union is so strong that if we subsequently wanted to separate the titanium from the bone it would be impossible to do so, we would only be able to extract the implant, simultaneously extracting the surrounding bone.
